Sierra de Baza Natural Park is located on the eastern side of Granada province.

It covers an area of 52,337 hectares and has high mountains reaching altitudes of over 2,000m. Humidity levels are higher than the surrounding areas.

The park has a tremendous variety of fauna; here you will also find an abundance of birds of prey; in particular, royal eagle, Egyptian vulture or the buzzard. The wild mountain cat, the badger and the civet cat can also be found here.

hiking, mountain biking and speleology (caving).
